Vegetation: secondary scrub, cultivation and cactus scrub on calcareous
soil.
Woody shrublet to 60 cm, scrambling over roadside embankment; leaflets
bluish grey-green, close up soon after stem is cut, some stems prickly,
others not; calyces and corollas pale creamish white, corolla lobes
sometimes pinkish red, filaments bright pink, anthers white; fruits
green tinged purplish pink. Very common locally on calcareous soil.
