Scattered, sometimes rather common in secondary dry
dipterocarp woodland with the dominance of Dipterocarpus
obtusifolius or co-dominant with this species on old alluvial
soil inundated in rainy season..
Deciduous small tree, rarely up to more than 15 m tall and
dbh to 0.5 m.
