Open rocky grassland with shrubs, and pockets of woodland in small gullies, soil calcareous. Amongst grass and boulders, open sites. Locally very common.

Description
Woody-based herbaceous shrub to 30 cm.; leaflets mid-green, paler below; fruits with lower surface green, upper surface dark purplish red. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
