Shrubby, open vegetation with many Lantana's and Opuntia's. Strongly branched, aromatic shrub, 1.7 m tall. Stem light brown. Branches tetragonous with pale stripes and white hairs. Leaves green, rough. Upper surface green, lower surface yellowish-green, hairs yellowish-white. Bracts yellowish-greerj, apex yellow. Corolla white or pale violet with a yellow or white throat.
