United States of America. Idaho. Butte Co. Southeastern most tip of the Lemhi Range (Cedar Point), ca. 10 miles northeast of Howe, ca. halfway up butte.

Habitat
Slope 40%; Aspect N. Community: Artemisia tridentata wyomingensis, Poa sandbergii with Atriplex confertifolia. Associates: Phlox hoodii, Allium textile, and Arenaria franklinii. Plants abundant. Soil little developed; rocky, limestone slabs.
