Habitat
On gentle slope to plateau ca. 500 m above Huberodendron trees, near first large gap along ridge. Non-flooded moist forest.

Description
Tree, 18 m x 20 cm. Flowering at unusually small size, trunk damaged which perhaps promoted flowering. Petals creamy white, hood yellow, with red at distal end of ligule. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
