Ternstroemia penduncularis DC.
LOCALITY: Coral Bay Quarter. Bordeaux Mountain Road, 1 km from Center Line Road.
Elev.: 350 m.
HABITAT: Moist forest.
DESCRIPTION: Small tree, 6-7 m tall; many branched from near the base. Bark beige, smooth, with numerous lenticles. Flowers reflexed; sepals pinkish within, greenish without. Fruit ovoid; seeds with bright red coat.
