    Treelet to 2 m tall, 1 cm dbh. Buds, old fruits, nearly ripe fruits, and flowers at anthesis all present in population. Calyx rosy-red; corolla, stamens and style white. Fruiting calyx green, finally deciduous. Locally common in understory. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
