  • Description

    Treelets to 2 m tall and 6 cm diameter at base, unbranched to few-branched. Calyx white at base, diffusely pinkish red otherwise; corolla, stamens, style white. Many flowers with one staminode on same plants as those with 5 fertile stamens. Young fruit green with pink-red tinge. Understory. [Photos, pickles]. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
