Bosque tropical seca, on rocky slope. 300 m. 23°23’N, 109°50’W Shrub to 2.5 m x 2 cm, branching open. Bark mottled shades of grey. Soft foliage discolorous, upper surface dark bottle green, paler below. Moniliform fruit grey with white stellate indumentum (as also on leaflets), breaking into 1-seeded articles, fruit thus a lomentum. Seeds pale brown.
