    Deeply rooted into crevices of sandstone on north facing vertical cliffs. With Carex, Gaylussacia, Aronia, Dichanthelium. Very local; about 20-30 mature trees. Sandstone cliffs. Well-drained silica sand over St. Peters Sandstone.
