Amazonas: Rio Preto (tributary of Rio Negro) Collecting done from boat up to 8 km N of
coordinates along Rio Preto (165 km from Barcelos). Elev. ca. 100 m. 00°14'12"S 65°05'23"W.
Igapo forest with numerous islets. Twining vine 5-6 m long, with lateral pendent branches,
producing scanty milky sap; inflorescence ascending, with green axis; calyx light green; corolla
cream-yellow. Specimen preserved in 70% ethanol before drying.
