site ca. 1 km circumference from coordinates. Elev. ca. 100 m. 00°52'28"S 62°58'13"W. Igapo
forest on islets. Shrub 3 m above water; producing abundant milkyu sap; stems dark brown;
flowers ascending; peduncle and calyx green; corolla white; staminal apendages white. Specimen
preserved in 70% ethanol before drying.
