Bahamas. New Providence. Nassau. Pine region about 1/4 mi. east of Lake Cunningham.

Habitat
Soil honeycomb limestone and black earth.

Description
Shrub 5 to 8 ft. Flower (4-merous) white; buds cream. Fragrant with a suggestion of ferment. Stems ash-gray, smooth; few from common base at the ground. Apparently about a week in bloom at date. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
