Tree to 10 m. x 30 cm., bark grey-pale brown, branches spiny; leaflets discolorous, grass-green, slightly glossy above, paler and dull below; calyces and corollas very pale green, filaments cream, anthers greenish yellow; mature fruLocally common at edge of dry river valley.its dark rose-red, arils white, seeds glossy black. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
