    Flat areas near the arroyo edge. Little shade, but little sunlight (entire area shaded by the peak to the south). Dasylirion, Mimosa, Chilopsis, Artemisia, Cyphomeris.

    gray-green foliage. Many branches from the base of a 2.5 cm diameter taproot crown. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
