  • Description

    Stems clustered, with basal shoots and two main stems, 2 m tall, 4.5 cm diameter, rough with persistent leaf bases. Leaves 10; sheaths 8 cm long, with an additional 30 cm narrow ocrea; petioles 127 cm long, thorns at base only; blades 87 cm across, with 21, more or less equal segments, the middle not divided but briefly petiolulate. Inflorescences erect, 150 cm long, exceeding the leaves with 8, branched partial inflorescences. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
