    Narrow west-east running canyon surrounded by steep graniticoputcrops and gravel slopes. Pinus monophylla woodland with Purshia tridentata, Artemisia tridentata, Phoenicaluis cheiranthoides, Eriogonum umbellatum, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Monardella odoratissima, Elymus elymoides, Ephedra viridis, Ribes velutinum, Penstemon patens, Erigeron brewerii. Occasional; scattered across steep north-facing slope. Sometimes in Pinyon shade.
