    On NE-facing 15° slope; exposed windswept granitic ridge. Leeward (SW-facing) pediment of coarse granite cobbles w/ cushion-type dwarfed vegetation. E-facing slopes with more mesic scrub, w/ Purshia tridentata, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Artemisia tridentata, Ephedra viridis, Pinus monophylla, Mentzelia congesta. Abundant.
