From literature affixed above label: All plants here with glabrous staminode unless otherwise marked on sheets. Anthers always microscopically puberulent, ciliolate at suture, dehiscent 1/2-2/3 the length of cells, included or ± inserted. Plants glabrous throughout; sepals ovate, acute or abruptly acute or short acuminate, entire or erose hyaline-margined. Strongest beard on staminode from Inyo Co. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
