• Georeferencing Method

  Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the geographic center of Praia Dourada, along the shore. Using Google Maps, located Praia Dourada along Rio Tarumã-açu (synonymous with Rio Tarumã), which is a tributary of Rio Negro. Approximated the geographic center of the shoreline of the beach, then used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates. Used distance measurement tool (Google Maps) to measure linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of Praia Dourada. Used linear extent as uncertainty radius.
