Habitat
Montane evergreen forest, canopy 30-40 m. Soils sandstone and laterite derived. Large trees including Lecythidaceae, Fabaceae - rich in epiphytes, lianas, fungi. Creek with sandstone talus, rich in herbs.

Shrub. Shrub, 2.5 m; fruit green ripening dark blue, 0.5 cm diam.
