Mexico. Sonora. Navojoa Mun. Cerro Prieto (=Cerro Colorado), near its summit, 0.2 mi below the microwave station gate, 8.6 miles east of Navojoa on the road to Alamos.

Habitat
Tropical deciduous forest, partially cut- over, with Bursera, Acacia, Lysiloma, etc. on a rocky gentle slope. Cerro Prieto is a volcanic hill that stands ca 1000 ft. above the surrounding plain. Fairly common.

Shrub; 10-15 ft. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
