SINALOA: Fairly moist places in oak-pine vegetation on felsitic substrate. West slope of the Sierra Madre Occidental, ca 9 km southwest of El Palmito along the road to Mazatlan. Elev. ca 2000 m.
Perennial herbs from a coarsely fibrous-rooted base; stems solitary or few together. Basal leaves asymmetrically peltate. Flowers white.
