Growing with Pinus species by the roadside in an area planted with sugar cane.

Description
Small trees 5 m. Dark brown bark. Dense brown red pubescense on young stems. Leaves glossy green above and pale beneath. Petioles pubescent.Showy upright racemes with brigth red staminal filaments to the flowers . Dark haired calyx and corolla. Much dead material beneath the flowers. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
