The species is colonizing a bank on a very steep gradient.

Description
Arbusto: Shrub with slightly flaking; 1 m. shrub; with red/brown bark. Leaves are mid/dark green. The staminal filaments from a pink tube at the base and are bright red at the tips. Some pods of them tinted red at their tips. The sepals are red and the petals are bright red. The flowers are in heads; Pods are bright red at the tips. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
