Collector’s note. Mesa de San Alejo,an extensive broken topped volcanic tableland, slopes gradually from the highest northwestern part (ca. 900 m.) towards the southwest. The most abundant woody plants are Prosopis Palmeri, Cercid-ium praecox, C. sonorae, Bursera microphylla, Jatropha cinerea, Fouquieria peninsularis, Lemaireocereus Thurberi, Pachycereus Pringlei and Ruellia peninsularis.
