Broad braid sandy wash with vegetated "sanbar" benches; N side of the wsh marked by steep, dark rocky volcanic slopes (basaltic?); S side of the wash consisting of low, slightly rolling decomposed granitic flats with occasional eroded bouldery outcrops;.
