Habitat
Scrub forest with many characteristic arid species, no trees or shrubs over ca. 2.5 m tall. Guettarda, Uniola virgata, Comocladia dodonaea, Thrinax morrisii, Turnera diffusa, Nashia, Pictetia aculeata, Antirhea acutata. Limestone substrate on slope.

Shrub ca. 1 m tall with resinous odor; flowers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
