Habitat
Secondary wet forest. Sympatric with Panopsis megistosperma (Proteaceae). Infrequent.

Description
Unbranched or 2-branched tree, 8 m tall, 9 cm dbh. Flowers and fruits cauline, sessile to subsessile. Calyx green; corolla pearl-white, pinkish-white in bud, the petals erect and adaxially concave until post anthesis, cleistogamous?; stamens 2/3 basally fused. Fruits prominently ribbed when fresh, green and brown variegated, 1-seeded. Leaf blades to ca. 150 x 40 cm, with sunken dots beneath, ca. 46 pairs of lateral nerves. Litter trapper species. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
