No. 8221, collected May 9, in Silver canyon in the White
mountains opposite Laws, Inyo county. Plentiful along the
roadside and at other places on the floor of the canyon. The
type was collected in “Surprise Canyon, Panamint Mountains,
Inyo County, California.” Determined by Professor Greene.
