  • Habitat

    On ravine slope. Pine forest above, moist forest along steep rocky ravines, fairly dense secondary thicket downstream from plant. With Tetrazygia longicaulis, Miconia stenobotrys, Clidemia angustilamina, Corchorus hirsutus, Cissampelos pareira, Ilex, Trema lamarckiana, Pellaea, Cheilanthes, Tabebuia berteroi, Chrysophyllum, Lantana camara, Piper aduncum, Comocladia, Croton, Sida, Phyllanthus, Ficus, Clusia, Cupania, Rivina, Pilea, Kalanchoe spp., and several Myrtaceae shrubs. Common.
