With Castilleja linariifolia, Amsonia tomentosa stenophylla, Thymophylla pentachaeta, Hymenoxys argentea, Gilia hutchsinfolia, Gaillardia, Penstemon eastonii, Senecio multilobatus, Fendlera rupicola, Coleogyne ramosissima, Chrysothamnus, Stanleya wrightii, Juniperus, Sphaeralcea leptophylla, Fraxinus anomala, Galium, Oenothera pallida, Bromus rubens, Rhus trilobata simplicifolia, Opuntia polyacantha erinacea, Brisckellia microphylla scabra. Common. Cryptogamic soil.
