    On mountain slope, in full sun. In well-drained rocky loam soil of falsite-acid lava.

  • Description

    Tree up to 15 m high and 50 cm DBH. Leaves pinnately compound (imparipinnate), spirally crowded on branch ends, alternate, 3-7 pairs leaflets + terminal one, leaflets ovate to elliptical, 3-10 x 1.5x4 cm, toothed on young leaves, glabrous, margins entire. Fruit a large orange-coloured berry.
