    Sub-shrub, tough rooted, 40-110 cm high, erect, brown, grooved, hairy stem. Flowers cream with purple tip to lower lip, irrwegular, 15 mm long, spike 20-40 cm long. Leaves, hairy, toothed, opposite, pungent aroma. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
