Herb, perennial climber tuberous rootstock, hairless, tendrils unbranched. Leaves stalkless, deeply palmately 5-lobed, blue-green. Male and female flowers on separate plants, corolla pale yellow, strongly veined. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
