Large shrub or small tree, branchlets wooly, russet hairy. Leaves leathery, conspicuously lopsided, shiny above, densely yellow hairy below, Flowers star-shaped, yellow, calyx conspicuous. Fruit 2 lobes. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
