Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Unsure which road is "estrada do morro da Embratel," since there are two roads which lead to that area. Georeferenced to BR-364 within Presidente Medici. Using Google Maps, located BR-364 in Presidente Medici. Used measurement tool to measure a straight line from the two points on the road that are most removed from each other within the administrative boundaries specified in the locality description (within the município Presidente Medici). Halved this distance, and chose a point along the road nearest to this distance (midpoint of the road within the município). Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the midpoint of the road. Input coordinates, linear extent (the distance from the chosen point on the feature to the farthest point on the feature that is within the administrative boundaries specified in the locality description - 23745.1 m.), and measurement error (.1 m.) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
