Cordillera Central, east of Paso Bajito, lower slopes of Loma la Golondrina, about 100 yards beyond GPS reading on trail to junctions of Rio Maxi-Pedro, Rio Golandrina, and Rio Nue. In ravine of Rio Golondrina/Rio Maxi-Pedro, below their confluence at Salto de Golondrina.

  • Habitat

    Moist forest in ravine. Moist broadleaved forest with Calycogonium sp. (collected by D. Skean), Sagraea fuertesii, Miconia prasina, M. punctata, Clidemia umbellata. Locally common.

    Shrub, to 1.75 m tall; fruits blue. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
