    Growing on southeast-facing gentle slope of open range, sandy soil (silt and sandstone bedrock) with Penstemon, Lupinus, Agropyron cristatum, Krascheninnikovia, Erigeron.

    Flowers white banner with pink wings. Stipules not sheathing; pod inflated and papery, bilocular, septum incomplete. Phenology of specimen: Fruit, Flower.
