Habitat
On steep, rocky hillside. With Pinus, Blechnum, Baccharis, Miconia, Myrsine, Brunellia, Garrya, Isachne. Uncommon.

Description
Shrub to 2.5 m tall. 12 plants. Fls. white with style sometimes greenish. Anthers *. Leaves dark green above, youngest with light tan scurfy hairs on upper surface near base. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
