    Arboreal semi-closed cerrado, small trees and scattered shrubs. (Scattered taller trees show that the area was probably once a cerradao, a type of dense woodland).

    Subshrub, about 4 dm. tall. Flowers golden-yellow, stamens cream-color, stigma cream. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
