Campo cerrado on upland (or occasionally forest). Open marsh or denscur-over & burned campo cerrado, ground ploughed for planting of Pinus. Ground vegetation returning, grasses, herbs, and small shrubs. Soil poor, reddish, brown fine sand with a little clay.
