Habitat
Colonies on vertical rock walls of marble in the canyon, in little crevices; also in fairly dark caves; some plants in dry areas, others in moist and dripping soil.

Description
Leaves olive green, in flower and fruit, with small, pink rhizomes. Corolla white, with yellow centers, androecium yellow. Leaves and pedicels sticky, also the rhizomes. Seed pods borne beneath the leaves. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
