West aspect; stoney-ashy soil with high bare ground cover; with Juniperus osteosperma, Oryzopsis hymenoides, Ipomopsis congesta, Oenothera caespitosa, Eriogonum ovalifolium. Plants occur at low density, but a relatively large population.
