  • Description

    Glabrous perennial from fleshy-thickened taproot topped by a ± obvious pseudoscape; bractlets of involucel whitish with green midribs, 1-3 nerved, basally connate; petals and stamens rose-purple; fruits dorsally flattened, the dorsal wings apparent only near the margins. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
