Forest along river and just above riverbed.

Description
Stump sprout off tree 25 m x 40 cm diam, plank buttresses, digitate, to 2m tall and extending up to 1.5 m; bark reddish brown, mostly smooth, shed in plates ca.12 cm long. Abaxial leaf surface glaucous, midvein yellow on younger leaves but reddish on old. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
