On outcrops; Aspect: N to NW. Associated with Pinus flexilis, Pseudotsuga menziesii, Pachistima myrsinites, Leucopoa kingii, Pellaea breweri, Petrophytum caespitosum, Heuchera. Localized, present on outcrops only. Limestone.
