    Seasonally wet forest, Pseudotsuga, Rhamnus, Physocarpus, Cornus, Acer circinatum, Holodiscus, Polystichum munitum. Frequent epiphyte, translucent pale green moss with tan-coppery sporangia, covering tree branches. Huus, clay loam, moist. Probably some weathered volcanic ash.
