    Moist diverse forest. Melastomes noted: Charanthus fadyenii, Mecranium amygdalinum, Tetrazygia hispida, T. pallens; others at lower elevations. Abundant. On limestone.

  • Description

    Small to moderate sized tree, to ca. 12 m tall; bark smooth, fruit purple-black; plants showing much variation in leaf size. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
